Description:

Seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple units within the health system. This role offers the opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience while supporting patient care and operational needs across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
• Perform assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
• Administer medications and prepare patients for procedures
• Maintain sterile technique and follow all safety and quality protocols
• Educate and support patients and families
• Adapt to varying unit assignments and schedules
• Participate in training, competency validation, and quality initiatives

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Active RN license (Single State or Compact)
• BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• National specialty certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery hospital experience required

• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer proficiency
