Meet Jennifer Parrott, RN, CNOR, President of AORN East TN Chapter 4301! Jennifer has been a nurse for 19 years, with 15 in the surgical setting. At Knoxville Orthopaedic Surgery Center, she serves as Quality Improvement Manager, Sterile Processing Manager, and Clinical Educator, where she leads with passion and a commitment to excellence.

Jennifer has presented at the last two AORN Expos (Nashville & Boston), and has contributed to Outpatient Surgery Magazine. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, gardening, volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, and spending time with her two sons.

Her advice to new nurses:
“No matter your background or life experiences, if you are dedicated and work hard, you can accomplish your goals… it’s what we do with those failures that makes us who we are.”
