AORN Member Spotlight
Meet Kendall Freeman, RN, CNOR, NEA-BC, our awesome AORN Chapter Treasurer!
Kendall is the Nurse Manager of Interventional Radiology at UT Medical Center and has worked in and around the OR for most of his career, with over three decades in healthcare. His journey began as a surgical technologist, which inspired him to become a nurse.
He’s a graduate of Fort Sanders School of Nursing and earned both his BSN and MBA from King University. Kendall loves the OR because it allows him to focus on one patient at a time, and as a self-proclaimed list-maker, there’s nothing better than checking things off and keeping everything running smoothly.
AORN is especially meaningful to Kendall—he describes his local chapter as family and has proudly served as Treasurer for 8 years, enjoying the opportunity to give back and support fellow perioperative nurses.
When he’s not at work, Kendall is hanging out with his 13-year-old dachshund, Toby
Thank you, Kendall, for all you do for our chapter and our OR community!
